We have just learned, this 19 June, that the military tribunal of Blida (Algeria) has decided to keep Louisa Hanoune in prison.

As her lawyers explained, not only is the prosecution’s file empty, but, in addition, they explained that she has presented all the guarantees to be released and that she would stay at the disposal of justice.

Her being kept in detention by the military tribunal, like her incarceration, is a political decision targeting the general secretary of the Workers Party due to her political positions for changing the regime. The lawyers will submit a demand for her release to the prosecutor in two days.

20 June, we will demand with even greater force the release of Louisa Hanoune and continue to enlarge the international campaign.
